I am very happy with the Sanseverias I ordered from http://bobsmoleys.com in December 2015. Two of them arrived budded out and bloomed a few weeks later.
Sansevieria trifasciata Moonshine
Sansevieria trifasciata 'Bantel's Sensation'
Sansevieria sp. Kenya (spoon leaf dwarf)
Sansevieria senegambica in Bloom
I don't remember ever seeing a Sansevieria in bloom. It may not be the showiest but I am extremely pleased.
ASU Plant Sale January 2016
I can not remember ever wanting a palmetto, but when I saw the Sabal minor for sale I had to give it a try. It does not like dry soil and seems to want as much indoor light as I can give it. I live just a little outside of the Sabal's hardiness zone, the plant's odd subterranean trunk helps it survive winters that are quite cold. Here is a nice article about Sabal minor.
